Here’s an Open platform for Social application development

To the developers of social application out there, here’s good news. With a focus to foster innovation in an increasingly growing social web, Myspace, the social network site and Google Inc have recently announced the launch of OpenSocial, a set of API’s (Application Programming Interface) for the purpose of building social applications across the web.
