Blue Host terms of service is fairly simple as there is very little scope for legal jargon. It has a list of terms that customers need to adhere. One point is “All activities may be monitored, recorded, and examined by any authorized person, including law enforcement.” with “Any violation found or fraudulent activity that system personnel deem inappropriate may have your account immediately terminated without notice and any recorded evidence reported to authorized persons.” But I must say that the terms are very clear that has a 10 page agreement between the company and the customer.

Blue Host too uses a cPanel like many others do. The CPanel has proven to be a very user friendly Control Panel. It has a standard look. For a newbie it should take less time to get in touch with the interface. The features are almost same as other cPanel. There are some nice addons such as site builder, domain manager and other options to manage your account. The cPanel is fast and will do everything that is supposed to be done.

Blue host also supports addon domains. They work very well without any problems. SSH/Shell Access by default is not allowed. Speed is fine. Since cPanel includes Fantastico, installing common scripts is easy.

In the end, I do have to list out the positive and negative parts. For an individual to a medium scale business Blue Host is an excellent service provider. The company offers great service for people who have fewer budgets and look for a reliable hosting service.

Pros: cPanel with nice extras, good support, more space, bandwidth and fair prices.

Cons: 3 month minimum contract length, pricing is relatively hard to find.

Overall, Blue host is a fine hosting solution with helpful support and reasonable pay.
