Microsoft presents the latest software MS Office for Mac 2008 that hits the market in early 2008. This is one application that Mac users have been waiting for a long time mainly because Office has been the most powerful application suite available. The specialty is that if you got an Intel-based Mac, then you are ready to go with the application and at high speed. The new Office comes with full of interface enhancements that follows the footsteps of Office 2007 for Windows version. This application includes a new ribbon-like toolbar, more animated, and more stylish.

Office 2008 includes Mac versions of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, along with the program. Well “Home Edition” skips out the Microsoft Exchange support and also the OS X Automator actions for workflows. These options come in the standard version. There is an edition known as “Special Media Edition” which adds the Microsoft Expression Media program for graphics asset management.

The Mac’s menu bar has access to all of the traditional menus. It also provides quick access to graphics, templates and other tools. You will surely find lots of improvements in performance compared to the prior versions.

There are some drawbacks application. It saves the work by default in new file formats and features do not match the likes of Office 2007 for Windows. But overall, I would say, definitely an application that is not to be missed.

The application will be hitting the software market on January 15, 2008. If you are looking to buy the application online, click here to order.
