Moving on, this device has a slide-out keyboard and a touch LCD screen. The keyboard is a powerful one that makes typing and browsing the internet easy. The memory card is expandable that can go up to 8 GB. This smartphone operates on the Verizon Wireless third generation cellular network, the EVDO which can deliver download rates of up to 2.4 Mbps, which is quiet nice. This can also be used as a modem when using laptops. For this purpose you can use the BroadbandAcccess Connect which is Verizon service. The device also has an inbuilt Wi-Fi technology which makes more convenient to access the web.

About the phone, there comes a speaker phone, smart dialing, three-way calling, and text and multimedia messaging.
The device has a 2-megapixel camera that is integrated with flash and video-recording capabilities. The good thing here is, the white balance can be adjusted and can add various effects. But as always, the options are bit more limited in video mode.
The XV6800 is powered by a 400MHz processor and the device has a 920mAh lithium-ion battery that can stay in use for around 5.4 hours of talk time and up to 14 days of standby time.

Well the good points I can pick on the device is that The Verizon Wireless XV6800 smartphone upgrade features in operating system. The device has a 2-megapixel camera, and a very charming design. Other options are Wi-Fi, and EV-DO.
As usual, there is no product which is always a rock star in every aspect. When there are good points, let’s not forget the negative points. The drawbacks I see is, the speaker on the device is on the softer side, and there can be improvement in the call quality. The There are performance delays and the smartphone doesn’t support Verizon’s streaming media services.
Overall, a product that I can rate 8/10. Check the sidebar for a video review.

I think your review has an error. I own this phone bought it 1 month ago and I tried a 8 GB microSD card and it did not work. The phone recognized the 8 GB card but only showed 4 GB or available memory. Please advise if your test ohone worked with the 8 GB card.
you are correct gregg, the device only supports up to 4 gb, However possible firmware update may resolve this issue, but it will be highly unlikely for an update to be rolled out for an issue such as this.
